I believe that not all of U.S. citizens are protected. The government must be going by a protocol to determine what U.S. citizen is protected. How would they know who is an enemy combatant. The only way they would know is if they were watching the U.S. citizen. They can’t just assume anyone is an enemy combatant. <BR/>An enemy combatant is a person who speaks with the enemy. Which also can be a snitch. Who tells them what’s is going on and how the other side is going to attack them. The enemy combatant can be charged with holding information. A speedy trial is when the trial is prevailing rules, procedures and without an unreasonable or undue delay in a statutory period.
