Ford sounded like a pretty decent guy to me. I guess the special thing about his presidency was that he was the only president that wasn't elected. I don't know if he made too big a mark on history, he beat Reagan in a primary, and pardoned Nixon. That seems about it.
mr. ford was the 38th pres. and he was trhe kindest and hard working at his job. i think that he was the only one that didnt put the us into pressure and war so that the united people could live in peace
Hi, Mr. Brown. Here is the response about "FORD!." I agree what Nyshee and Sam said about our 38th president. Gerald Ford was not elected by the people. Richard Nixon was kicked out of office. Gerald Ford served 29 months in office. He pardoned Richard Nixon. The people were not happy about the pardon. Some people never forgot that. Gerald Ford was a Republican. I liked it that he was in the middle of the road. He was for gay rights. He didn't want government the classroom, in the boardroom or in the bedroom. For an older man he was ahead of his time. I also liked him because he was smart. He could have played professional sports but he chose politics.
I thought the videos we watched of FORD were quite interesting. It tought us alot about Ford. Not only was he the 38th pres but he also did alot of our nation even though he wasnt even elected. I cannot believe he beat Reagan and then pardoned Nixon! that was pretty interesting
