My Mother Said she is for Healthcare because of many people have lost their jobs and unable to pay the highcost of regular healthcare. So it the goverment stepws in , it would be much better for the lower classes.

The People who are most at risk today are those who have no health insurance at all. They are at risk of not getting regular care when they need it. There at risk of not catching real problems before they get serious enough to no be treatable. They are at risk of not getting the best treatment when actually go get sick and there treatments. They can lose everything

Obama’s goals are: to provide more security and stability to those who have health insurance, provide insurance for those who don’t, and to slow the growth of health care costs for families, businesses, and the government. My brother said, “Obama’s health care plan is great because there are millions of people without health care. Although, I can see why people oppose the plan because it goes against capitalism, but there is no reason for capitalism to affect people's health.”

When watching the Obama plan health care speech he point out four goals for his plans which are:
• Make healthcare affordable for everyone.
• Stopping insurers from dropping you if you have a precondition illness.
• those who don’t have health insurance now would be insured under the Obama plan.
• senior citizens to not have to pay extra for money out of their own packets for medication.
Interviewing a voter in my family their response to the Obama plan was that it’s a great plan; health care is an important issue its costing people who have a lot of money to stay covered by health care. Also costing more money to people who worked because they have to pay extra for those who don’t have health care. Everyone would be insured under the Obama plan the health insurance would be cheaper because there would be more competition. In case you lose your job you should be able to stay insured by finding a cheaper one.

Well at this moment my parents have no comment except that "I'm a city worker I'm covered".

President Obama's three main goals are more stability for the insured , insurance for the uninsured and slowing the growth of costs.
My father said he is for the health insurance because its something that is well needed for the people paying lots of money for health care and for the people who are poor and can't afford it. President Obama is trying to accomplish something that no other president of the U.S. was able to do.

Obama's healthcare plan looks innocuous on the surface, but the fact is even with the help that Obama is trying to give to the nation, the plan will not give room for improvement. The reason for my skepticism is that Obama's plan pushes for government subsidized healthcare offered at a significantly lower price than private companies offer. This will effectively create a monopoly in healthcare that would disrupt other dependent sectors, like drug makers & retailers, hospital employment, etc. In the end, the effort to make a social healthcare system would be better invested elsewhere.

ps, my mom basically had the same idea :^

Obama’s goals are to provide insurance to those who don’t have it and provide stability and lower costs for those who do.
My mom said that she thinks it is about time for health reform. We did then have a discussion about what would happen to the health insurance my dad gets because he is a federal employee and I was wondering if there was a government run option, would they switch all their employees to that plan. Apparently federal employees get a choice of more than one option, which probably shows something about the unfairness of who gets what healthcare.

Excellent Job! Are the people you are speaking with informed about the healthcare plan?

I agree with everything Chris and Phillip said. Obama is planning to insure all Americans that health care is for everyone. Obama is trying to end the health care problem now and i dont really see any flaws in his plans(IN MY OPINION). He is also slowing down the cost of rising insurance that millions of Americans cant afford. He implies that that is not what America is, and that it need change.
My sister says that she agrees with Obama's plan, because hes trying to bring change to America and he is making all Americans can be on the same page no matter what class in society their in.

Obama's goals are to provide security & stability, to provide insurance for those who don't and to slow down the growth of health care cost for families, buisnesses, and our government.
My mom said,"Obama's plan sound great. Health care is something everybody needs but I'm not sure if he can make it happen.

Obama's heath care goals was to:
1. Offer health care to all americans at an affordable price
2. Making sure insurance company's don't drop a persons coverage when they have an illness.
3. make sure everyone has healthcare no matter if you had a pre existing health problem.

My mom said " For me personally, Obama's health care plan doesn't effect me in anyway. I already have an affordable good healthcare plan with the federal government. I feel that Obama is trying to get everyone the health care plan that I have which gives you a lot of converage without disappointments. To have this health care plan for other people seems like a good idea and I'm sure it would work out if it happens. However I do believe that health care reform is needed but I'm concerned about who is going to pay for it? If America can't afford it."

Ciera D'Aguilar said...

I believe President Obama is trying to get everyone healthcare.
"These are not primarily people on welfare. These are middle-class Americans. Some can't get insurance on the job. Others are self-employed, and can't afford it, since buying insurance on your own costs you three times as much as the coverage you get from your employer. Many other Americans who are willing and able to pay are still denied insurance due to previous illnesses or conditions that insurance companies decide are too risky or expensive to cover." -President Barack Obama

He knows that lots of people lost their jobs. He is willing to make seeking new jobs possible. "And I will not let up until those Americans who seek jobs can find them; until those businesses that seek capital and credit can thrive; until all responsible homeowners can stay in their homes." -President Barack Obama.

I agree with him. Everyone should have healthcare. I know not all jobs have health benifits but they should because it is only right that you take care of your employees. From what I heard the only jobs that have healthcare benefits are the ones for city or state. I hope that isn't true, if it is it needs to change. It is natural to become sick. If a person doesn't have healthcare and ends up on their death bed because they need a new lung, are doctors supposed to just let that person die? How do you say that to a person, " Sorry but you dont have health insurance and you cannot get a lung transplant so.. your going to have to just die"

Welfare should also be given to everyone even if that person didn't get the right education for a job. All the money that is spent on charity for homeless people wouldn't exist if everyone had some source of money. We are the citizens of the richest country in the world.

Well I didn’t only ask my mom about the healthcare plan but to various family members of mine. They all agreed with it after we discussed a little about it and saw Obama’s speech they said that it would really help people in need especially disabled kids who’s parents aren’t able to pay for heath insurance and for senior citizens who sometimes don’t have family to care about them and they kept talking.
Obama’s goals are to give insurance for those who don’t have- to individuals, democrats, republicans and more. Obama say’s “Nothing in our plan requires you to change what you have” basically it’s saying you don’t have to change your doctor, you can keep your insurance the way you have it with the same hospital and doctor. What Phillip says is also right that his plan is to provide more security and stability to those who have heath insurance. He’s just trying to make it better for us.

I believe that President Obama is making a great decision on health care because many people don't have the ability to pay their rent or bills because of the loss of jobs. Many people in this economy is suffering because of how bad the economy dropped many jobs and can't pay for insurance at all. People who are suffering are most at risk of not having any care at all what so ever, even if its needed. Right now the Government has no control. The Government needs some kind of control to see where the Medicaid or medicare money is going. We need to have some changes to save many peoples lives. "This is why we cannot fail. Because there are too many Americans counting on us to succeed- the one's who suffer silently, and the ones who shared their stories with us at town halls, meetings, in e-mail, and in letters." - President Barack Obama.

It's time for some changes. Many people need help. If we don't try nothing to save this economy then nothing would change.

Most of the people who have left their opinions agree that this plan is a great idea, for the exception of two people (so far). I have listened to the plan, read the plan, and come to the conclusion that in fact, it is a complex series of obvious ideas which may or may not happen. For example, Obama states that he will "provide more security and stability to those who have health insurance" and "provide insurance for those who don't". Now that sounds like a VERY original plan. .
Of course anyone with morals would agree with his plan, because it helps the poor and sustains everyone else. What could be wrong with that? The whole speech goes on about how Obama will do these magnificent things and make the United States a "perfect nation". Yet how many times have we heard change in the past few months? Where is this change Obama speaks of and how can I get a slice? This speech is missing a sense of assurance. It gets an A+ in motivation, but how does the rest of the nation know that this plan will run as smoothly as he spoke it? This isn't an easy plan to run, so how do we know it will succeed?

Obama's three goals are to supply people with insurance who don't have it; provide permanence and lower the expense for those who do have it. I asked my father and he totally agrees with it. He said that it will be beneficial since many people have lost their jobs and can't seem to pay for it. If it gets through, millions and millions of people without healthcare will have that opportunity. It will be a drastic change in America.

Obama’s health care plans are to guarantee every one that they will have health care, and for those how already have it to make it more affordable. When hearing his speech I agreed with almost all of the points he was bringing attention to. I personally think its time to take care of everyone; no one should fall through the cracks. When asking my mother she said it’s time everyone has health care. A healthy nation is the key to everything. A healthy nation means a healthy economy , it’s a spinning cycle!

President Obama's health care plan had three main goals. One of the three goals is that his plan will provide more security and stability to those who already have health insurance. Another goal is that it will provide health insurance to all of those people who don not already have health insurance, and the last goal for his health care plan is that it will show the growth of health care costs.

My brother who is a registered voter does not agree with this plan. he believed that if the government starts providing health insurance for everyone, then the other companies will lose a lot of business. He thinks that if the government gives cheaper health insurance he would definitely not use it because he would want the best possible way for a hospital to take car of him wen he is sick, if the health insurance is cheap then there are some things that just cannot be covered.

President Obama’s goal for the health reform are to provide more stability to those who already have health insurance so their insurance cant deny them help when it is most needed. Provide insurance for those who don’t and also to make health care cheaper for those who can’t afford it.
When I asked a registered voter what they thought about Obama’s Health reform policies and plans they said that they didn’t support it. They agreed that it was important for families to be able to afford insurance but not this way, they feel that if Obama’s plan is approved it wouldn’t be fair to many people, because everyone is required to have health care and Obama said that immigrants aren’t going to be able to get health care. My family members don’t agree to this because they believe that they wouldn’t be paying for health care and than on top of that pay for immigrants when they have an emergency. My family members also don’t agree with this because sooner or later Obama’s Health care is going to put all the other companies out of business because of their low rates and its going to turn into a monopoly.

The goals of President Obama's healthcare plan is designed to maintain security to the people who already have health insurance and provide insurance to the ones that don't. He also wants to slow the growth of the healthcare cost for families, businesses, and the government.

My parental units have been very busy lately so they aren't familiar yet with the President Obama's healthcare plan. I concur with Shantel's mother's last statement. Although I try not to be doubtful and not have faith in our President, but having a whole country being on the same page on such a touchy topic is a very difficult task. I too am not so certain if this healthcare plan will follow through successfully.

My brother is for the health care plan because he believes that this would not only benefit the people who can’t afford insurance right now, but it would also benefit people that are being charged a lot of money. So I guess my brother agrees with most of the parents ^.

The two eligible voters in my house which are my grandmother and my mother had an opinion on this plan. My mother said that she supports Obama and stands behind him 100%. My grandmother said that she agrees with this plan because a lot of Americans are without health care and that needs to change.

Obama’s main goals for health care are to make sure insurers don’t drop their patients because of other illness you of failed to tell them, another one of his goals is to make sure people who don’t have health get it and to do that he plans to make a small affordable insurance company. His last goal is to slow the growth of health care. My mom said she didn’t know about the health care plan mostly cause she didn’t watch the whole thing.

- Obama plans to make health insurance mandatory and a fee will have to be paid if you don't. Also, insurance companies can't deny you coverage for a disease u already have. There will be no limit on how much coverage one can have. Co pays will be limited and preventive care will be required in everyones health coverage.
- My friends thoght this is a really good idea and I agree with them. They believe that health insurance should be required and paying a fee if you do not makes sense also. It does because you can get a ticket for not having car insurance but not for something that can physically save your life. A car could be replaced but not a persons life.

i agree with philip when he said one of the goals are to slow the growth of health care costs for families. i agree because i think one of the main key sis that it is very affordable compared to the other 5 insurance companies run. Another goal is to give everyone the opportunity to get cared for when they are ill and in need of care. i am for the health care plan because i believe in Obama's goals. Honestly when the republican screamed you lie, i realized that there are flaws here and there but i believe they will be fixed. My sister thinks that the healthcare plan should be passed so everyone has the right to get treated at a affordable cost.

I think that Obama has very good intentions in creating universal health care. Many people have been losing their jobs due to the recession and having his health care plan would give them some sort of stability and reassurance that no matter what, they are covered. Obama states that “everyday, 14,000 Americans lose their coverage” and that “it can happen to anyone”. I think that it definitely has potential to be good for everyone if done right. I asked my mom what she thinks about Obama’s plan and she said from what she knows of the plan, “it sounds like it could help a lot of people” and she thinks it would be good if it is passed.

Anthony said...

I think obama's health care project is a very good idea because it helps those who don't have enough money to afford health care so anybody who can not afford it can be healthy and be able to get the check up's they need so they could be ok.

My cousin thinks it's a good idea as well because she say's "This health care plan can be helpfull for everyone, no matter who they are they can get it. It's also very helpfull to people who have big families and can't get enough health care to support them all so this project can really help those kinds of families in need". So we both see this project as a positive influence.

J.Phillips said...

One goal that Obama has is to make health care affordable for everyone. So, if this goal is met and everyone can be rewarded with healthcare why not get it? There are people in the world today who are uninsured because of low income and it may even seem like those people need it the most. No one should have to die like the man from Illinois or have cancer doubled like the woman from Texas because of no insurance or not knowing any other health problems they may be dealing with. My family and I agree with Obama's goal in lowing health insurance so everyone has equal opportunity in response to this.

Alvarez S. said...

Obama's main goal to health care was that we wanted to provide more security and stbility for people that already have health insurance. He also wanted the people who don't have insurance he wants to provide that for them, that seniors citizens would not come out of their pockets for any type of perscriptions, that it will be given to them. I agree with the last thing that Philip wrote that people are only looking at the picture of being equal instead of the fact that are being benefitted with something that they really need, look behind the fact of being equal and see what help that is given to us.
After asking a voter about what they felt about health care, they said that there is no reason not to be for it. There are so many people that are having difficulties finding the right healthcare or the right doctors that take a certain insurance. What Obama is trying to do is beautiful and there should be no reason why we shouldn't be behind his decision 100%, he made changes that helped the country so far so let him proceed.

I agree with the fact that President Obama is for healthcare, and I also agree with people who think that it would be costly to other American citizens who may not want to conrtibute to other people's dependency on our taxes. I feel that if you are a person who is on a daily bases contributing to your own uprise on disease and bad misfortune you deserve healthcare but can NOT expect to have it handed to you even under a sick condition or illness because you've brought some or most of it upon yourself, and demanding unpaid healthcare is like clearing a room full of people then setting yourself on fire and then expecting someone to run in and put out the flames. But if you are a person who is healthy and takes good care of themself but just can't afford to pay for health insurance when you find yourself in a need for it I think you should be intitled to low or non-paid healthcare.
