Are we safe yet?

Is America more safe today because of our efforts in Iraq? How are the recently declassified reports being used to further the democratic agenda? How are republicans refuting claims of their mistakes pre-9/11 surrounding al-queda and Osama bin Laden made by former president Bill Clinton in a recent TV interview?

I found in the New York Post that the Republicans say that Bill Clinton should have caught Osama Bin Laden. Secretary of State Condeleeza Rice yesterday accused Bill Clinton of making "flatly false" claims that the Bush administration didn't lift a finger to stop terrorism before the 9/11 attacks. She's right because he shouldn't have said tht. I am not sure if the country is safe enough. I want it to be safe. I am scared.

I think the Americans are not safe today with our efforts in Iraq because Al-Qaeda will continue to pose the greatest threat to the Homeland and US interests abroad by a single terrorist organization." I found this quote from: "Declassified Key Judgments Of The National Intelligence Estimate Trends In Global Terrorism: Implications For The United States Dated April 2006." I think there is not enough soldiers fighting and helping our country. I don't think Former President Bill Clinton should not have gotten mad because he could've lived. If we have more soldiers we will be more protected.

OF COURSE WE'RE NOT SAFE!! This is yet another sad political folly that shouldn't make news. This is all about people blaming 9/11 on someone. Look, if theres anyone to blame, I suppose its hmm, I don't know; AL QUEDA!? But aside from that, Bill Clinton should have known better than to appear on fox news, where it is BLATANTLY obvious he was going to be eaten alive!! And Condileeza Rice should learn to ANSWER the questions she has been asked, rather than 'beating around the bush'.
I agree with edwin, he's scared and I am too. We all should be afraid with this aweful Bush administration and edwin is right that the country isn't safe enough. It was safer before this war, and we probably won't be safe again for a looooooooooong time.

An excerpt from the declassified intelligence report, "If this trend continues, threats to the US interests at home and abroad will become more diverse, leading to increasing attacks worldwide." This is truly upsetting.

America is definitely not any more safe since the efforts in Iraq. I feel this way because I don't neccessarily feel that the efforts in Iraq are neccessary, and I am sure there are other people in the world who would agree with me. I actually think that this will make us more of a target. I think that other countries, especially middle east, are going to become more defensive and find America to be a bully. i think that if the war continues, it will inevitably cause governments of other countries to become sick of it, and retaliate. Whatever the American government is dishing out, I hope they are willing and ready to take it back.
